The REACT Framework™ was developed by Voices Unhidden™ to help individuals move beyond confusion and into clarity. It provides a step-by-step structure for identifying patterns, evaluating risk, avoiding escalation, documenting behavior, and determining appropriate next steps.

R — Recognize Patterns

Understand that isolated incidents may not tell the full story. REACT begins with identifying patterns of behavior over time.

E — Evaluate Risk

Assess the level of concern based on frequency, escalation, and potential impact.

A — Avoid Escalation

Learn when engagement may worsen the situation and how to set and maintain boundaries.

C — Capture Evidence

Document behavior in a way that supports pattern recognition and potential reporting.

T — Take Action

Determine appropriate next steps, which may include reporting, seeking support, or protective measures.

The REACT Framework™ is not a one-size-fits-all checklist. Each situation is unique, and applying this framework effectively may require guidance and interpretation.
