Memorial
It exists to honor individuals whose lives were affected, in whole or in part, by online abuse, harassment, intimidation, or silencing.
Behind every tribute is a real person — someone who mattered, whose story mattered, and whose voice deserved care, dignity, and safety.
Online abuse is often minimized as “just words.” Yet for many, its impact can be cumulative and deeply personal. It can follow people into their homes, their work, their relationships, and their sense of self. When harm is repeated or ignored, the effects can be lasting.
This page exists to acknowledge that reality — without assigning blame or drawing conclusions — and to hold space for remembrance, compassion, and accountability.
Why We Remember
This tribute is not about statistics, headlines, or assumptions. It is about humanity. We remember those who struggled. We honor those we have lost.
And we recognize that silence — especially in the face of harm — can have real consequences.
By holding space for remembrance, we reaffirm a simple truth:
Every voice deserves to be heard and protected.
If You or Someone You Know Is Struggling
If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, or is in crisis, help is available.
In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also visit 988lifeline.org for online chat and additional resources.
If you are outside the United States, please contact your local emergency services or a trusted mental health professional in your area.
You do not have to go through this alone.
A Note on This Space
This tribute honors lives and experiences without determining cause, responsibility, or circumstance. All content is shared in good faith, with respect for privacy, loved ones, and the complexity of mental health and online harm.
